Haha, that's true. One of its greatest strengths is the responsive design and the color-coded instruments/keyswitches. It is still great for a newb like me. Maybe I'm spoiled by VSCO and SSO
Regarding the samples' "wetness", the orchestra was apparently recorded with a bajillion mics (for surround mixes and the like), so perhaps the full version has mics closer to the instruments, with less reverb?
