They are indeed tempting, and I managed to answer my own question by posting this elsewhere. Apparently these virtual instruments are legacy products (based on the Albion 1 libs I was told?) that Spitfire have already made a sizeable profit from, so they can afford to sell these at a silly low price, for a bait and switch type of thing. "If you like this €29 nugget, why not try our NEW AND IMPROVED €500 library?"
Nothing wrong with that though, as they sound really good and you can't argue with a price like that. If I find myself having more than pocket change at my disposal after all the Christmas shopping is done, I'm definitely adding these to my arsenal.
