Indeed, and it goes to show that clever sampler programming is becoming something of a lost art. As you say the filter may be a tad too agressive in this case -- the softer notes are a little bit too wooly -- but it sounds relatively convincing as is and with some tweaks it would be perfectly acceptable.
Speaking of breath controllers, how much does something like that set you back these days? My big master keyboard has a BC input and I remember considering getting one years ago, but they seemed really expensive at the time.

Well that is a very good question. The best answer I can provide is that I must have accidentally uploaded the full-size image instead of the 1024x1024 one that sits in the same folder on my hdd
