Drat I was gonna circumvent the intent and make the worlds smallest orchestra
 but then you said far from an orchestra...Does folder to sfz use oggs or only waves?

Hmmm... I could make one or more of the following:
- handflute - autoharp - kantele - pump organ - quasi throat singing (if vocals are allowed) Sam, do you have any plans as to when you're running the compo?

I recently inherited a set of homemade steel pipe chimes, I was already considering making samples before I read about this announcement, so that would be my most likely entry.
If I'm allowed to make two entries, I might also try clarinet, although I find the idea kind of intimidating because the clarinet has a lot more possible nuance than chimes.

I'll go over more tricks like this in the videos. It doesn't have to be weird stuff or anything like that which gets sampled, it can be normal things too. I'm gonna have to follow this one pretty closely, it sounds like a blast! I don't know that I'll have the time or the ability to figure out how to make an instrument (especially SFZ) but after it's all said and done, is it possible that we can have access to this "Scoring Central Orchestra" for funzies?

I should mention that I have started working on a synthesized "full strings" instrument. Just in case anyone's worried that we'll end up having to compose for Tibetan singing bowls, kazoo and kitchen utensils
