Added a new piece, somewhat inspired by the music from "Locomotion" and a few other things- [[Edit: I originally wrote 'Transport Tycoon' in error]]

I used the K2000 and WSA1 for this track. This is the first time I really started to enjoy using the K2000. When I initially went through the patches, I dismissed it as a disorganized pile of weirdness, but once you start embracing that weirdness (and ignoring the disorganization), it actually has some genuinely really nice sounds, especially in the bass category. I really like the sound of the percussion in the WSA1... it's like it's clearly not real, but at the same time, very different from the GM-ish sounds in the DS-330.
For the time, I'd say the WSA1 guitars are actually pretty impressive. The one I chose isn't exactly (it fit the mix best), but I was playing with one for a while (before realizing it totally muddied up the mix with the E.P.) that actually was almost convincing. I guess that's what the "modelling" in "modelling synthesizer" is for! The keys are very impressive as well (that EP is an absolute joy to play, very responsive), although the acoustic/orchestral instruments, although well-represented, are not very attractive. The K2000 actually probably has the best sounding acoustic/orchestral instruments out of all the hardware I have, aside from the ESI-4000, but that's just because it can load CD's from dozens of third party manufacturers. (yes, I still keep intending to get a Roland JV/XV series sampler with the orchestral expansion... as soon as I have the space, money, and flimsy excuse to do so).
Instrumentation:
Percussion - WSA1
Suitcase E.P. - WSA1
Bass - K2000
Weird breathy sound at start - K2000
"Clean Guitar" - WSA1
Synth Brass - Combined WSA1 and K2000 patches (one hard left, one hard right)
Wind Sound (during "break" in middle)- K2000
