Check to make sure that it can find the samples OK. Not all sfz players support the file path shortcut we used, I believe.

Awesome! Thanks for creating that!
There's a bug in the sfz files that prevents them working in Sforzando on Mac OS. The default_path has a stray \ at the beginning which makes Sforzando interpret them as absolute paths rather than relative paths. Instead of default_path=\choir E Samples\ it should be default_path=choir E Samples\ Quote:There's a new one called "Oceania", I believe that people are liking a lot. I just checked it out. It sounds nice, but it only provides ten syllables. Enough to do "pseudo text" that sounds like they might be singing in some unknown language, but not enough to sing actual text in any real language.

So I know that this isn't really quite what was asked for.....but when shopping free you have to take what you can get.
https://www.plogue.com/products/alterego/ This is really more of a 'vocaloid' type of sound than a choir (which I really don't like), but I could see it being possibly useful as a mock up tool for vocals and again you can get it and I think one of the voices for it for absolutely free.

It is something I've stumbled across in my own searching and something I would definitely have tried it but unfortunately my old desktop computer doesn't fulfill the Windows 7 or higher requirement! Thanks for posting the link though, appreciate it. |
