I was thinking of using Reaticulate once upon a time. It looks good, but instead I modified my sample library to reduce the need for key switches. I really only need to use key switches if I want to switch to pizzicato.

Both of these options sound pretty interesting! Just a couple more things to add to the pile of things to check out one day! Reaper is seriously great for this kind of stuff.

I'm a keyswitch nut. Since I can barely play the keyboard to begin with, I tend to like these "programmy" kinds of things. I also find that keyswitches can be inconsistent, even in the same family. I made it worse with some of mine by making my own patches with my own keyswitches! Still, anything that can help organize things better is good.
