I agree entirely. I 'released' test versions across time to see if there were any complaints and no one said anything. So it why not. Of course my limits as a musician ('that would be zero') and lack of info on the samples makes them more patch packs than true instruments, but still as you say pretty amazing sounds for free. Maybe they can be released more coherently as an SFZ by you clever folks!
This seems to say Google has the rights and has made them Open Source? Anyway Google is big and it is their release and license. I made sure to take great care in linking and giving the license on the blog.
