Sample editing tool - Michael Willis - 03-24-2019 This just popped up on the Linux musicians forum: Looking for a new sample editing tool I'm wondering what options prior around here use, particularly Sam since I know he does a lot of sampling. If there aren't any tools quite like what David is looking for, would anybody else be interested if a new one were to be developed? RE: Sample editing tool - Mattias Westlund - 03-24-2019 REAPER does all of that I think. Of course, it's not free. Well, Reaper costs way less than custom development! Edit: hmm, turns out he was already using reaper. I sent an inquiry to find out why he's looking for a replacement, since it seemed like reaper should be fine for this kind of thing. |
