Mine was weird. It was a 26.5 inch scale which I didn't really like (small hands). And the body was sharp and uncomfortable. I also put a Distortion in it which I thought was too thin and brittle for a guitar that went down to B. In the end I sold it and bought another guitar I'm going to sell to buy yet another guitar... Yeah...

The strummed guitar is meant to be an acoustic, but I won't bother micing and recording one until I have the arrangement firmly in place. So the timbre is going to change slightly there. But I think this works pretty well all on its own (not to say that it doesn't need a lot of additional work).

Nice! Good example here of what you mean about processing the orchestra a bit differently, too. The orchestral bits are all far back for the most part and the metal stuff is up front.
