While futzing around with Otto's new impulse reverbs, I accidentally loaded a standard wave file instead of an IR and got a crazy effect on a piccolo clarinet.
So I went hog wild with the idea...

Might I ask what wave file it was? An instrument sample?

Yup, one per instrument basically. I found that short two or three note phrases or things with long changes over time (like long, slow hanging chimes) created the most interesting effects on held notes...
