If you have any love for old digital synths and romplers, you absolutely need to check this out.
Nils' K1v is a faithful virtual recreation of the Kawai K1, an 8-bit digital synth from 1988. It comes complete with the factory presets as well as all available ROM cards, and let me tell you, this thing is a goldmine for oldschool digital synth sounds. While I can't comment on how close this is to the actual hardware since I've never used it, it's a lovely instrument and a breath of fresh air in a market that is saturated (no pun intended) by virtual analog synths.
Oh, and it's free!
Edit: I should mention that unlike many modern synths it doesn't come with any built-in effects, so it might sound a little anemic straight out of the box. But don't let that fool you. Pair it with a nice big reverb and maybe some delay and you'll be instantly transported back to the age of mullets and shoulder pads
