Spooky Victorian TV shows or films

I've been in a 19th-century mood lately and I can really recommend The Alienist. Solid actors and characters and a very atmospheric setting. It's kind of like Sherlock Holmes meets CSI in 1800's America. The Limehouse Golem is a great twist on the Ripper mystery. And The Frankenstein Chronicles takes the Mary Shelley idea and runs wild with it (while weaving the lady in question into the story). Ironically, Sean Bean dies then comes back to life!

What have I missed in the same vein?

The only thing I could think of that might fit would be Dickensian, an original story set in a Victorian city in which all, or most, of Dickens' characters are present. The two main plot threads are the Havishams' and Inspector Bucket exploring the murder of Jacob Marley.

Kind of a necrobump, but I just wanted to give HBO's A Christmas Carol a mention. Me and the Mrs watched it over Christmas and it's very atmospheric and enjoyable. And it forced me to somewhat reevaluate Guy Pearce as an actor. He's always been sort of ho-hum in everything I've seen him in, but he's actually really good in this!

I can only recall seeing him in The Time Machine and Ironman 3, but I thought he was good in both of those.  I'm curious, did you see those and not like hm in those movies too?

I remember him from those movies, and Memento, but it's been 20 years since I saw that one. And he was in Prometheus, though so covered in make-up that no amount of acting ability would make a difference in that case. I dunno, maybe I'm being unfair, but Pearce has sort of a smug look that makes it difficult for me to like him. Maybe that was what made him so fitting for the role of Ebenezer Scrooge!
