Since I have finally managed to get VSCO2 Pro working properly, here's my first tentative steps. Expect many updates to follow as I proceed to explore the library and set up a template.

Sounds lovely! Really nice piece. I'm liking how the pizzi strings sound here. And that horn is sweet.

Thanks guys! This is pretty much just a composition from the top of my head, I just need something to work with for setting levels and panning and whatnot.
Initial grumpy niggles: - S01 - Violin Section - Expr Leg is one semitone flat. - Both clarinets are nigh unplayable due to slow note starts and/or initial delays. - Many spiccato and pizzicato RRs also have various timing issues. - The vibrato bassoon has hardly any vibrato. Are there by any chance any patches/fixes (third-party or official) for stuff like this? I just realized the Versilian Studios forum is gone or am I going blind?

Right: I should mention that this project also features Etherealwinds Harp II and Fretless Zither. So it's not all VSCO2, but it's all Versilian

This sounds like something I'd bust my backside to make. Are you using the free EW harp II? I like that lib a lot but I haven't used it in anything yet.

Free EW harp II, yes! I love it. I've used it extensively on Lore (along with its freeware predecessor) and I've developed a taste for using two harps, one to the left and one to the right. It probably makes no sense at all in a real world scenario, but it's a little bit like double-tracking guitars. It adds a very nice overall texture.

Two harps at all really expands one's options. As I continue messing around with my big template, I often think about composers like Bernard Herrmann, who embraced the possibilities of the recording studio, to keep myself from becoming too obsessed. Consider that he used nine harps in one score and twelve flutes in another (according to Wikipedia). I was listening to some Elder Scrolls music the other day and I realized that Soule's harps are often very up front and present, too. Sounds very nice. Any update on the release of Lore? (Asks the guy whose album has been in limbo since it was finished in late 2017)

Lore! Lore! Lore! To the rhythmic pounding of spoons on the table, they wont let me have knives or forks...

I lost the enthusiasm for working on it, and for music in general. Which is why I've devoted myself to writing instead for almost a year now.
