I have had very little free time lately, but I didn't want to neglect the forum. I like the direction you've presented with this soundcloud.

Thanks Nayrb! Though to be honest I'm not as good a reader as I thought. Still it was fun recording a bit. Hope you are doing well.

I spent many hours editing audio clips of narration once upon a time. I think you would have fit in very well.

Thanks Paul. I appreciate that. Maybe just feeling self conscious after not doing it for so long.

Any ideas on cliffhangers to end chapters on?

I actually liked your reading voice as well. The only suggestion I can think to make is slow the pace of reading just a slight bit, but by no means would I call it think and glunky.

Thanks Michael. I do tend to rush, I'll try to slow it down a bit.
I like your cliff hanger idea. I wonder if the flip side would work when confronted by a presumed enemy and then they turn out to be a friend or at least a for the moment ally?

There's a cute western from the 40's called 'Tall in the Saddle' with none other than John Wayne playing opposite the stunning Ella Raines (even though she's like half his age) which has that sort of plot formula. It has literally ALL the stereotypes, but I mean... John Wayne and Ella Raines! Gunfights! Love! Poker!
