The hidden parameters are either fixed defaults (for example, the early send is fixed at 20%) or derived (the base decay time is the room size divided by ten). I'm wondering, from anybody who has used Hibiki, did I grossly oversimplify the parameters? I had somebody suggest that I could design it such that the DAW can control more than are shown in the graphical interface, as a sort of "advanced mode".
I haven't had time to really dig into the details, I basically just checked that it worked as it should. One problem that I can see with the fixed 20% ER's is that if you're going to set up multiple reverb buses for different distances, you're going to need a level of control over ER's that Dragonfly simply can't provide if they're hard-coded at 20%. Might I suggest a "Distance" parameter for controlling the balance between early and late reflections? I.e. Distance 0 = only early reflections, Distance 100 = only late reflections, and all the steps inbetween.
