Haha, thanks Otto. I normally do just that, but it's good to get a reality check from time to time.

Yet another tune added, though a pretty short one. Potential combat music, we'll see.

I don't know if Cutthroat Alley is E Lochrian plus something polytonal or just outright free-tonal, but the contrast from the others is staggering, which is pretty much exactly what you'd want from a combat cue. I personally interpret having the diminished E triad as the "tonic" chord as giving a sense of uncertainty, threat, or ongoing tension.

TBH I'm not sure about the theory behind it either. Yes, the diminished chords were indeed used to create a feeling of tension, but as for the melody I haven't really analyzed it. It just seemed to fit in

I'll have to check out this game when it's out, City of Thieves was one of my favourites as a child.
It would be cool if you get to make a soundtrack for a Lone Wolf based video game.  

Those wips are brilliant, I specially like the atmospheric Torchlight Tunnels.

Yeah, it's an awesome thing getting to do this. I still have the FF books from when I was a kid and they're really cool (I'm a big fan of Iain McCaig), but... Lone Wolf was a completely different experience. Much more immersive (and gruesome!). Magnamund is a great dark fantasy world and I would love to do a LW soundtrack!

All tracks are now around 95% finished, I'm planning to wrap everything up towards the end of next week.

After some discussions with Nomad Games we've decided not to sell the soundtrack separately (it's only 24 minutes of music) so when the game is released it will be offered as a free download, and will remain available from Soundcloud as well!

New last-minute track. Or new-ish at least.



This was originally what was going to be Tochlit Tunnels, but I scrapped it as it wasn't menacing enough for a dungeon track. Then earlier today I listened to it and felt it had kind of an fun instrumentation (just pizzicato strings, celesta, harp and percussion), so I repeated the first part, polished it up and finished it. Not sure whether it'll be used in the game yet, but otherwise I'll just consider it an unofficial bonus track.
