New Music: Knights Fight

It's too quiet around here so I thought I'd add a little noise. Here's a video I recently finished.

Hey, nice work! That animation was great, nice touch.

I recognized that flute... I think it was in a giant soundfont collection a fellow on Newgrounds put together back in the day-

Thanks. I'm already working on another animation. Even better I hope. The video portion is already done, I just have to compose some music for it. If I can do that, it will be the first time I've made the video first and tried to compose to a video. I think it's far easier the other way: making the music first and creating a video to fit the music.

Depending on the part of the song, I used a flute section, a solo flute and a piccolo alone or in some combination.

That fellow from newgrounds   (nice composition BTW) has done a good job to recognize the flute(s) but it's from a different source. The flute section and solo flute are from VSCO 2 Community Edition. The piccolo is from Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra all after being assimilated (resistance is futile) by Virtual Playing Orchestra.

Ah, interesting! Maybe it's the piccolo then. Sonatina and the BAB collection both stem from similar sources.

Looking forward to the next animation! It's definitely a challenge to try to score to a video but can be a lot of fun for sure.
