Yeah, the tragedy variety is not only more engaging, it's also the most realistic and plausible outcome. Elyn is a wreck after what she has been through. What does going back home accomplish, for her? Nothing. They don't even have a home to go back to. There is no resolution there, no consolation or closure.
And no, I definitely don't intend to write all the music in one go. This has been evolving over months, with long periods of inactivity, so I'll just keep hacking away at it when I feel the time is right.
