Otto pointed me to your symphony made with SSO and it literally made my jaw drop. Awesome work on that one, and by far the most ambitious thing I've ever heard the library used for!
Anyway, I've had a look at these soundfonts of yours, and while it's an impressive collection I feel that I must point out that some of these samples you've used -- unknowingly, I'm sure -- are copyrighted and and actually not legal to use like this. I haven't looked at everything but several of the section wooodwinds (e.g. Clarinets Staccato, 1st layer of Flutes Staccato, 1st and 2nd layer of Oboes Sustain) are from the old Miroslav library. I know you, you probably plucked these from the Squidfont or Bellatrix sf2's, I'm just letting you know that the origins of some samples used are fishy and you should be careful with uploading and sharing them.
Pragmatically I don't think there's any immediate legal danger -- these soundfonts have been floating around the web for half an eternity and I've never ever heard of anyone getting into trouble over using or distributing them -- I just want both you and people downloading the files to be aware of it.
Sorry for raining on your parade
Nice work on the solo violin though! Like Otto says it could use a bit of editing in terms of tuning but I like the overall sound of it, it has a bit of grit and isn't as polite as most solo violin samples out there. This is definitely a welcome change. You haven't recorded any additional articulations for it, by any chance?
Thanks for the reply Mattias. Actually, the Solo Strings, Solo Woodwinds, and Solo Brass Instruments ONLY have sustain notes, and NOT have any Pizzicatos, Staccatos, or Tremolo Articulations or whatever. Only the Section Instruments have a lot of the articulations.
I'm sorry for borrowing a lot of soundfonts for my orchestra soundfont.
