Cool thanks. You are a true Renaissance man. Musician, Writer, Historian, Cheese Gourmet.

This thread has been very hard for me because we've been hunkering down in my neck of the woods, only going out when necessary (like to get to work), because of the "Polar Vortex" and constant snow. I forgot to go to the store and have been subsisting on whatever is in the cabinets Big Grin

These cheese chips may have to happen once the sequester ends. Any recommendations on cheese varieties?

I hope you are OK. I used to live Chicago way and remember some crazy winters and the wind off the lake, but nothing like this.

All's well so far, and it's supposed to break by tomorrow and hit the low 20s. Then I can cut myself out of my clothes and drive to work with the windows down.

Make sure you put some clothes back on before driving to work.

Seriously, I'm sorry to hear how tough this has been. My coworker showed me some pictures earlier today and at first I thought they might be somebody's exaggerated joke... Nope, they were real candid shots of emergency responders with thick ice formations on their facial hair.

Big Grin  I did, I did...

Now that we're going up to "thunderstorm temps" we can worry about that... High winds and hail and flooding... If it's not one thing it's another!

Anyway, I couldn't afford cheese this week so I bought cheese flavored Triscuit crackers instead.
