Yep, same thing for me unfortunately :/

RE: Lore -- Preview - Mattias Westlund - 11-09-2019

Anyway, here's an example track with a number of changes both in terms of samples and mix.

The Coming Storm

Has anyone here tried Auburn Sounds Panagement 2? I remember not being super impressed by the original version, but I'm using v2 on this track and it actually sounds great. It has a really excellent sense of depth to it and a clarity you rarely get with a traditional algo verb. Sadly it's not very intuitive to work with and the manual does a poor job of explaining the parameters, so I'm not sure I have everything set up properly.

To be clear, I'm using it in my typical three-way reverb bus, not on every channel for panning and such. That would be a total mess. So far I like it, but it's going to require a lot more experimentation to get the most out of it, I think.

Sounds cool! Some parts achieve a nice "Hollywood" sound (like at the end). I think I was using Panagement v.1 when I tried it out. So you are applying it to the reverb?

As an aside, it sounds like a sped up Willow around 1:25 Big Grin

No, I'm using it instead of a traditional reverb. The reverb in v1 was kind of meh, but as this one sounds much nicer I figured I'd give it a try. But like I said... it's not intuitive to tweak, so I'm not sure I'll use it in the end.

It does? I haven't listened to that score in ages, all I seem to remember are two parts: the slow melody on some ethnic flute, and the uptempo theme from the wagon chase that sounds like the Raiders March inverted. Somehow I doubt you're referring to either of those.

Oh, I see now. I checked and it seems I'm still on the old version. I'll have to check out the update and see for myself.

It's just an interval, really. It occurs in the beginning when the maid floats the baby down the river.
