Wizoo's Latigo and Darabuka - Chris Spyratos - 11-09-2017

They are two excellent plugins for exotic percussion but nobody sells them anymore. Which is a pity... Even existing customers cannot get theirs licensed because the licensing server is down.

Has anyone of you used them? Do you know if they classify as abandonware?

Well, if the way you describe them is correct, yeah, that's pretty much the definition of abandonware. Smile

It looks pretty advanced. I'd be shocked if this was more than 7-8 years old. Is the developer still around? Would it be possible to license the samples/library for redistribution?

According to this it was released about 13 years ago by Wizoo which is now owned by Avid.

With a simple google search one can find out that the VSTs are a success as they thrive in the cracked software section!

Particularly impressive visually (to say nothing of the sound) noting that this is what most DAW's looked like at the time-
