YOU CAN MOVE THE KEYSWITCHES! But it's super-unintuitive.
You need to "scroll" the keyboard view down to the lowest octave. Then you can grab the piano icon on the GUI (no, clicking the arrows won't work) and drag it, with no visual representation of the icon being dragged, to reposition the keyswitches.
