I'am working on my own library containing only freeware, and I collect freebies since the ninetees. I cannot believe it - I thought I have each and every freebie ever existed, but there're still a few white aeras. (...)
Here's what I like to begin with:
Bela D Media - Legato Flute & Performance Harp
released in 2003. Format gig.
Does anyone actually ever noticed those? And if, how much MB are they? How's the quality?
Does anyone here have it and is willing to share?
Anthony Deaton: Woodwinds (Flute,Oboe,Clarinet,Bassoon)
called "Philharmonic", released 2013, Format sf2+sfz, 6 articulations
same here: Does anyone have it and is willing to share?
Desperate to say the least

Sadly I've never even heard of any of these, and I consider myself something of a freeware collector. Goes to show how much stuff has been released over the years that is just gone forever :/

That's an impressive project. New freeware orchestras are always, always welcome.
I have heard of the Deaton Philharmonic Woodwinds. Now, I could be mistaken, but I believe these were just looped (and perhaps tuned) versions of the Philharmonia Orchestra samples, which I'm sure you're familiar with.

But Bela D's new page has a freeware domain, containing only Scoring Noise, but stating that is "more to come..." - at least there's hope.

Yes. And if that is true then it's fine with me and I can take it from the list. You make my day
