I decided to go ahead and make the new version of Virtual Playing Orchestra 3.0 public, with a warning that part of it might still be in a Beta state. I suspect it's fine and won't need to change, but different MIDI controllers respond differently to key velocity.

Anyway, there are now 2 version of Virtual Playing Orchestra, the Standard Orchestra edition (same as previous versions but with bug fixes and slight enhancements) and the new Performance Orchestra edition, which uses the MOD wheel for volume control and the key velocity for articulation selection (at least for sustain, staccato and things in between)

Wow, great work! I'll definitely try updating my template to use the standard VPO 3.
Looking good! I really like the layout of the page, it is very clear to follow.

Thanks. I was hoping I could make it easy to understand how to download this library now. I found it necessary to break it into a few specific pieces.

Thanks Michael.

I just updated my Ardour template to use VPO 3 Standard Orchestra, everything seems to be working fine. Thanks a ton for continuing to share your work!
I will give it a go! Nice (continued) work with VPO. I recommend it often to people who ask me about getting into virtual orchestration.

Thanks! The more people that help spread the word, the more people who want it can find it.
