My first time "scoring to picture" where I created the video first, then composed the music to fit the video.

Hahah I love the animation! Too funny! I absolutely DIED at the space scene; what is that, piccolo? Music fits very well too. Smile

Thanks Sam! As I was working on the video, I wanted the scenes to become more ridiculous as the chase progressed.

If you are referring to the iceberg scene, it starts with solo flute, then the flute and oboe sections join the solo flute. They play together briefly then the solo flute is replaced by piccolo. In the credits, same thing except without the piccolo.

Nah, the space scene where there's the beeping that grows lower as the space craft/satellite moves away. Sounded almost like a piccolo; just reminded me of 'ye olden days' when sound effects and other noises had to be created using GM instruments doing unusual things, like in AoE where ocarina was used to create sub-bass tones by playing sustains down several octaves.
Lovely animation and I liked the message! What did you used for the animation?

As for the music I really enjoyed the percussion, it really gives a dimension to the music that I personally tend to overlook in my compositions.

That's actually a modified recording of Sputnik - the Russian satellite from 1957. I took a few beeps out of the recording, and removed the background noise. I also adjusted the pitch as needed.

I used Shotcut for the animation. It's free.

Thanks. I was hoping the percussion + brass would make the music "piratey" Smile

No kidding! That's real dedication.  Big Grin
